Two updates in a month? I'll be taking on Reuters next. You lucky people… This weekend just gone saw a surprise Birthday celebration for Mr Ian Nixon, who was clearly over the moon and in no way unhappy about being the centre of attention. Through gritted teeth an inherently shy Nixon got the chance to blow out some candles and catch up with some of the boys and girls he doesn't always get chance to see, in no way missing his planned escapade around Leeds. While undeniably grateful, he was certainly embarrassed, and it took more than a few cheeky shots to see him through! As far as I know he made it to the end in one piece, and hopefully enjoyed the quieter moments where we all got chance to catch up. Life is quite good at getting in the way of get-togethers, so any chance to do so is worth taking. Pop on over to the gallery to see how the event unfolded - the highlight of which is probably Estelle's Mike Tyson moment where she mistook Dom for Evander Holyfield - an easy mistake to make, but a painful one for Dom's ear.
