OK so to kick off this new idea for the site, here's a question for you:

"What was the last decent album you bought?"

I've popped this up as I hear less and less impressive music these days - half the time all I get is [insert very good band] is splitting up or [insert very good band] is going on extended hiatus - or even [insert very good band] is no longer playing anything I wanna hear.

So shoot ladies and gents - please reply with the last decent album you picked up, and feel free to say why.

The holiday season is now over and the New Year is upon us. A very busy time it has been for me, which is why it's taken until now to add the galleries of the events that the last month or so has involved...

With 14 Galleries dedicated to the trip on this site, anyone who's been here before will have struggled to miss the fact that a team of representatives of Milton FC headed out to Vancouver this summer, in honour of the wedding of Ravi & Sunny. Last weekend saw the return of Ravi to Milton's spiritual home, as he's currently over on business working in the capital. Unfortunately the nature of Ravi's trip to these shores meant that Sunny couldn't join us, but hopefully the next time they'll be able to hit town together. We were both sadly in the same boat on that front as Fi was away partying up with Miss Abbie for her birthday, but the ladies had a fab time painting random strangers so that's grand.

As our midfield general Mr Huby rightly concluded, the spontaneity of the whole event probably helped make the whole thing even more special - hardly any plans were made; we just played it all by ear and let proceedings take their natural course. I'm sure Ravi would argue that it was him that made the whole thing special though, and who are we to disagree? (!)

The pictures were captured across 3 different cameras, but they've been mixed up to spread over the timeline of the day and night. Many thanks to Messer's Steele and Kershaw for their photo magic (look for the good ones) and to all the budding photographers who took control over the course of the evening.
